Alpine Habitats

Alpine habitats are always in the mountains or
nearby. Trees do not grow their because the
Alpine habitat is 30,000 square kilometres and
usually about 10,000 feet high. Trees also don't
grow their because it's to cold.

An Alpine habitat is a timberline or the tree line
and their is a really low percent of snow.
Usually Alpine habitats are in the south Islands.
At the north Islands Alpine terrain is limited to
volcanoes at the central plateau (Ruapehu ,
Ngauruhoe). Also Tongariro,Mt Taranaki
(Mt Egmont) at the west.   

I like how you had lots of Punctuation Like brackets and Lots
of and  information in a small piece of writing, but I still think

Mr Mc's teacher project

These are my thoughts about Mr Mc’s use of
different maths apps during learning time.

First of all I really got to be an expert at using
Number pieces. I like this app because we could
record what maths we choose and we could make
a code so if another person wants to borrow your
Number piece you give them the code.

I also liked the Number line app because we can
do lots of big jumps and we can change the
Number line to hundreds,thousands,tens and
even under one like decimals.

My Greatest Holiday!

On the 9th October (Wednesday) my mum told me that we were going to go to a snow mountain,Taupo,skyline and hot relaxing spas. My mum also said that we will be waking up at 3am on Thursday. I was a bit shocked that we needed to wake up so early but I started packing some luggage inside a strong bag the night before.

I packed a bottle with water,swimming gear,shoes,clothing and some food. When it was dinner time we had rive,pork,beans and broccoli. Then when I finish my meal I went to bed and slept. At 3am my alarm went beep beep beep and I woke up,got changed in warm cosy clothes,brushed my teeth and ate some break fast. My family got in the car and waited for our cousins. When our cousins arrived,we drove down the motorway past Hamilton and down south. When we arrived I was so exited,after six hours in the car waiting.

I wore non - slippery shoes,a big coat,beanie and gloves. I picked up snow and threw it on my dad and he came chased me. My dad helped me make a snow man and we left it there. I will never forget this Holiday!

Story starter

The daughter opened the window,she yelled "HELP!" Amelie closed her eyes and just prayed that this was all just a horrible nightmare but it wasn't. After that she noticed the giant yellow crane that was lifting the house,but who was operating it? It was the flying smart chicken dog! (What an evil creature... BEEP! CRASH! Too much weight was on the crane and the house came crashing down. Amelie rushed to what used to be a house and checked That every one was ok,and they were. She swore revenge on that retched beast! Amelie got her safety vehicle to rush everyone back to her house... To be continued....

Something i enjoy

I enjoy playing Over Watch because it is really fun,because you can choose characters to play as. Also each characters have there own special abilities,such as reaper,it has the death blossom. Where he spins around and fires his double wielding shotguns.

A Monarch butterfly's life cycle

The life cycle of a Monarch butterfly

Did you know how a Monarch butterfly grows? Well i'm here
to tell you.

A life cycle is stages about how animals and humans build
up. First a butterfly egg hatches into a green caterpillar. The
funny looking caterpillar goes out to find food to eat.
Caterpillars need at least more than five leafs to start the
pupa stage. The Caterpillar curls up then covers itself with a
soft shell. When the Caterpillar goes into the pupa stage it
stays there for 5 to twenty one days. 

After some time the insect emerges into a beautiful Monarch
butterfly. Later some days the Monarch butterfly lays an
round egg somewhere.

What would you do if you found a Monarch egg on a tree?

Life cycle of a frog

Did you know a life cycle is the process that all
living thing go through including plants,animals
and human being?Frogs have a cycle too.

First the female frog lays hundreds of eggs,than
the male frog comes and fertilises the eggs.
Sometimes rainfall comes and come eggs crack
and the rest of the eggs have a special layer of
jelly (frogs spawn). After some weeks the eggs
hatch and their now called a Tadpole,the
Tadpole’s breakfast (morning tea) is it's own egg
yolk from where it came out of.

After some days the Tadpole will have an
elongate gill and an external tail.

Climate change

Have you heard about climate change?

Climate change is when the world's temperature is getting
too hot. Firstly people are polluting the world by using bad
energy like coal to make electricity, Co2 is coming out of
cars and the Earth’s temperature is increasing rapidly. The
are three natural reasons that cause climate change. They
are;Volcanic eruptions,the orbit of the Earth,humans melting
oil for cars and planes and the sun's energy.

Co2 is water vapor,carbon dioxide,nitrous oxide,methane
and chlorofluorocarbons affecting the world.All this Co2 is
doing separate thing to the atmosphere which are all
negative and cause climate change. 

Humans need to start taking care of our planet in order to
reduce/stop climate change.

why do stars shimmer

When it's a dark night sky without a moon it's the
best time to look at the shimmering stars. Wait do
they really sparkle?

Stars don't actually flicker because the atmosphere's
  moisture blanket of air (wind) is moving and tricking
you. It's tricking you by wiggling around, the star
shifts and it's also just your eyes and it's just a
optical illusion,but they just seem to glimmer.
