The Waka

                                                                     Waka

“Ka mate,ka mate” is bellowed tremendously loudly from the rowing warrior’s. Holding tightly onto the oars we are strong and muscular. We use all our strength but we keep on going. We are fearless and doing hard work. “Splash” the turquoise waves are rushing so fast. We use the oars back and forward and repeat it again.
We open our mouth and open our eyes and stick out our tongue. When we stick out our tongue it is long like a stick from a kauri tree and the eyes are round  like a tuatua shell.
