British Castle parts

What is a Castle?
A Castle is a really strong building where the king, queen, prince and
princess stays. The Castle was made to protect people,so the enemies
couldn't get the innocent lives. Castles were made thousands of years ago.
What is a moat?
The moat is made to not let enemies in and around the Castle was
surrounded with deep and stinky water. That's enemies couldn’t get in, they
didn't want to swim because the water was dirty. They also didn't want to
swim because they couldn’t fight (attack)What is a arrow slit?
Arrow slits were made so narrow because the enemies couldn’t shoot the
arrows through. While who's inside can use the bow and launch, the

enemies keep on trying until they give up. You can use arrow slits to defend
yourself from getting hurt.
What is a drawbridge?
A drawbridge is made to protect the Castle because whenever intruders
come the drawbridge goes up so they can't get in. The drawbridge is
normally made out of wood, metal and chains. When enemies come a
person pulls the chains and then the drawbridge goes up.
